Contact is a very good movie. It touches on a lot of subjects that have been almost taboo in movies. This movie has not only a deep meaning but many meanings. This movie touches on the belief in God and many other things. Jodie Foster and Matthew McConaghey were great in this movie. It was masterfully directed by Robert Zemeckis. The book was written by the late Carl Sagan if you would like to read this. When the person that makes contact (if I told you who it was it would ruin some of the movie) goes through space, the computer animation is great. This is the only part of the movie that was kind of weird. Carl Sagan wrote a great book and Robert Zemeckis adapted it perfectly for the screen. I would recommend this movie to anyone who like sci-fi movies.
