National Lampoon's New York Vacation
OK, so it's not a new National Lampoon movie (I don't think we really need any more anyways), but I'll be in New York for the next week and will be unable to access the website for updates and the such. E-mails may be read periodically, but only using my web enabled cell phone, so replies will be few and far between until I return. I'm looking forward to Planet of the Apes and am quite upset that I won't be able to get a review posted ASAP. Have a great weekend, enjoy the Apes, and I'll see you next week!

Review(s) Added: Jurassic Park 3 (and The Lost World)
I saw Jurassic Park III earlier today and overall, while not being impressed by most of the dialogue, the movie did have some great action and acting and entertained me for 90+ minutes. A fun ride through the dino-infested island and much better than The Lost World (which previously wasn't in the database, but was added for this occasion - please bear in mind, this was an early review and represents my primitive reviewing skills from 1997).

2 New Reviews & Box Office Stats
I added two new reviews to the database - this weekend's number one film, Legally Blonde and number two, The Score. Both premiered quite successfully with Blonde taking in over $20 million and The Score just barely trailing behind with $19 million. Final Fantasy continued it's run after opening strongly to over $5 million on Wednesday, making another $11 million this weekend, bringing it's total to over $19 million. Steven Spielberg's A.I. took a sharp hit and dropped to 9th place this weekend just barely making $5 million.

Review Added: Final Fantasy
I've added a review of Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within - a great movie for graphics with a subpar plot. Storyline aside, you'll be awed by the amazing graphics and life-like reality. Simply amazing. Check it out this weekend! I also added a couple links to the Links Database - please check them out, and also, feel free to add your own.

Box Office Update
I've updated the box office stats (to your right), with Cats and Dogs surprisingly beating out the utterly horrible Scary Movie 2, taking in $21.7 and $21.0 million respectively. A.I. dropped quite a bit this weekend to third, only making $14 million as the new release Kiss of the Dragon was just barely relegated to 4th place taking in only $13.6 million. See the full statistics to your right.

Review Added: Kiss of the Dragon
I've added a review of the action-packed martial arts thriller, Kiss of the Dragon. While the plot does get unbelievable at times, the action takes precedent, and Li definately delivers. I'm also working on a late review of The Fast and the Furious. Unfortunately, since I have to work Friday nights, I won't be able to see the sneak preview of Legally Blonde tonight (I don't know why they aren't doing the usual Saturday sneak), but I'll try and get out to see Scary Movie 2 sometime this weekend (although, I already know how it's going to turn out - look forward to a review similar to Scary Movie).

New Reviews & Box Office - A.I. Takes #1
I've added reviews of A.I. Artificial Intelligence and Swordfish - surprisingly, the latter of the two was the more enjoyable movie. Read the full reviews for more in-depth reviews. Also updated, a bit late, the box office. #1 - Spielberg's A.I., making over $30 million while The Fast and the Furious (review coming soon) continued strong making over $20 million in it's second weekend. Close behind were Dr. Dolittle 2 and Tomb Raider making $15 and $10 million respectively. See the chart to the right for the top 10 this weekend.
